Information about our services

This bespoke companion service offers you support for the duration of your cruise.

We are reliable and respectful and we maintain your dignity and general safety.

Before your cruise, your friendly cruise companion can come to your home and assist with final cruise preparation and organisation, pre cruise packing, medication schedules and risk assessments.

To support your independence the cruise companion will accompany you to your departure airport or cruise terminal as required. The companion can assist with  baggage handling, check in , security screening and immigration, and navigation to your gate and seat, or room on the ship.

They will also help you with on-board entertainment on your flight if required on the way to the embarkation cruise port.

The cruise will also have mandatory safety musters you are required to attend and your companion will guide you and discuss safety and emergency procedures.

While on the cruise you can expect assistance and prompting for the following;

  • hygiene reminders,
  • ensuring linens and toiletries are available,
  • assistance selecting appropriate clothing for the activities and laying out clothes,
  • assistance with procuring laundry and pressing facilities on board or in hotels,
  • running simple errands,
  • medication reminders and managing time zone changes,
  • assistance reassurance and support if you have any travel anxiety or concerns
  • keep you company and ensure you get a comfortable seat or position and that the wait staff meet your needs.

The cruise companion will socialise with you and discuss upcoming events or itineraries with some local knowledge, accompany you walking and light exercise as requested including visits to pool given that there is suitable access, procure books, newspapers, magazines or audio books play games and cards or organise for you to attend on-board activities

The cruise companion will accompany you to shows, movies, casino, art auctions, shore activities and entertainment that most ships offer, assist in obtaining meals, drinks and snacks, ensuring that you stay hydrated and comfortable.

​We will do our best to empathetically simplify instructions, provide you reassurance and positive reinforcement, time management and organisations skills, including allowing appropriate time for being in the right ship location.

A: After your initial inquiry contact through the website and email, we will take time to get to know you. We will ask you to complete a Client Registration Form. At this point you will be asked to read and agree to the Terms & Conditions. Then we begin providing relevant general information and guides to gain a clear mutual understanding of expectations. There is no cost or obligation related to this initial exchange.

A: Over the course of discussions more specific information will be exchanged including specific costing, what we cover in the service and what we don’t. We will send ask you to complete a Client Registration Form and a Client History Summery.

Before we proceed with booking an assignment, there is a one-off service administration fee.

We then send information such as the Cruise Companion details for you or your travel agent to complete the travel bookings, a packing plan, and in-depth information sheet.

We will send you a Proposal to be signed and returned.

A: We ask our clients to sign a Client Service Agreement. It is intended to ensure that all parties clearly understand the Terms & Conditions. It also provides us with the information to prepare for the Cruise Companion assignment.

A: We have supplied the Independent Contractor Cruise Companion details for you to precede with cruise and travel bookings. Then you, the client after booking travel arrangements you provide us flight, ground transport, accommodation and cruise details. At this point we will send you the final Proposal for the assignment.

We provide additional safety supervision on call if needed, assessing risk in new situations and ensuring hazards and falls are avoided in addition to the ships safety procedures and practises.

We ensure you keep in touch with loved ones as required, including in cases of emergency or when needing to liaise with travel agents or insurance companies
